Email Settings
Overview
By default, email will come from the domain '@omniintelligence.online'.
This email server is hosted within AWS, and is provided free to OI users, so it should not generate security warnings.
Some organizations might want to use their own internal servers for privacy reasons or geographic law requirements. These settings enable that to occur.
Instructions
- Log onto the Omni Intelligence website and navigate to Manage -> Email Settings.
- Email settings screen will appear. a default one is below.

User | Username to log onto email server with |
Password | password to log onto email server with |
Enable SSL (y/n) | Is SSL enabled? |
Use Windows Credentials (y/n) | use the currently logged on users Windows credentials to authenticate with the email server |
Default Subject | if you wish to have a default subject line |
Subject Prefix | enables a subject line prefex |
Body Prefix | enables a prefix to the body of the email message |
Body Postfix | enables a postfix to the body of the email message |
- Click "Save" to save the entry when finished.
Sending a Test Email
Enter an email address in "Destination Email" and click "Send Test Email".
